Allison is very obsessive and jealous in her relationships, so when she met Brian and swore things would be different, they weren't and she lost Brian. She blames Kathryn for stealing Brian away and vows to get even by stealing away Kathryn's son, a boy who has already had a few brushes with the law. But Kathryn is not about to lose her son without a fight and the two women battle for the 17 year old boy.
