This is the story of Ricardo, a single parent, and his daughter Alicia. He has raised her alone and she has never known her real mother. When they move to Chile for Ricardo’s new job, their lives encounter tremendous changes. Alicia decides to find a new mother, and becomes attached to Catalina, who represents a dark side of Ricardo’s life. Meanwhile, Ricardo falls in love with Colomba, a young teacher with whom he wants to build a life. However, Alicia has rejected the idea of Colomba in her life……..
