Gary is an actor who burns his ex-girlfriend's things, uses crack, drives drunk and crashes his car. He sobers up in jail and is released to the care of Margaret, a publicist. His friendships with Margaret, and a strange neighbor are blooming when strange things happen.  He finds notes he doesn't remember writing, is hearing noises, and seems to bump into images of himself in the kitchen.
